Happy Valentine's Days

Happy Valentine's Day to all who visit my site and beyond. Today I returned to work, but not before clearing a path to the street. The snow ranged from 1-2 feet, and our driveway is quite long.

When I first stepped out the door, the snow was almost up to my knees; I am almost 5'9" tall, with fairly long legs. Though I don't enjoy shoveling, I do enjoy the snow.

While home for the "snow day" yesterday I really enjoyed spending time with my family. I decided to cook whole wheat spaghetti and turkey meatballs (Vid and Aliana both love spaghetti), I actually prepared the food without the aid of frozen meatballs and jarred sauce. I seasoned and rolled; chopped and sauteed; baked, boiled and simmered all without rushing. The meatballs were seasoned to perfection (by my standards) and quite juicy, which never happened while making turkey meatballs before. I was able to cook, work, talk to my husband, and play with my daughter all in the course of this one day. I wish we had more "snow days".

Yesterday I also found out that my Macintosh has been fixed; they had to replace the hard drive but were unable to recover the old data. I can't wait to have my Macintosh back; the PC is fine, but I am all about the Mac.

That's about it for now, I still haven't forgotten about posting my plans... that will be up in a day or two.
