Hi all! Today was a pretty okay day. I took some time to enjoy the beautiful weather outside with Cooper. We just sat in the driveway, me on the ground and Cooper in the grass, enjoying up sunshine and fresh air. It was nice to disconnect from technology and simply be still. Sitting outside with Cooper has become one of my favorite things to do lately.
Today, I also gave Vid a haircut, and we had a nice chat beforehand. It was a good opportunity to share some of the thoughts swirling around in my head. Although we barely scratched the surface, it felt good to start the conversation.
Friday was an in-office day at work, and it was nice to see everyone face-to-face. It's always a different vibe when we're all together in person. Although my introverted self enjoys the solitude of working alone at home, my soul needs to connect with others from time to time, and these ladies are pretty awesome.
Overall, today was a mix of reflection, relaxation and conversation.
